Paw Patrol Live! A Mighty Adventure, set immediately after the film Paw Patrol: A Mighty Movie, centers around the pups saving their celebratory street party from evil scientist Victoria Vance's newest invention. As the Assistant A/V for this brand new international tour, I was able to sharpen my technical skills by supporting an original production. With 4-6 shows per week, I oversaw mics for 13 actors and took care of the handling, deployment, and troubleshooting. Creating A2 paperwork and serving as the sub mixer were also included in my responsibilities. Keeping clear communication with our A1 was very important to me to maintain the success and consistency of our performances. During load ins and outs, I managed the video package of our show and led a team of 3-5 local crew members to construct an LED wall and 6 downstage screens. I also assisted in directing road cases in and out of the trucks in an orderly fashion. Operating in this role has given me experience in show development for a professional touring organization and preparing an audio and video system to suit large-scale venues across the country.
